Northern Nevada Film Factory and Animation Club

The Brewery Arts Center announces Northern Nevada Film Factory, a filmmaker and animator club for adults and children of all ages.

The club will bring together groups of people who share interests and skills in filmmaking and computer animation allowing members to share their ideas, share their skills, and share their knowledge with each other in a creative environment.

Club members receive access to the Brewery Arts Center Production Facility at 511 West King Street with weekly lab times and special programs for club members.

Filmmaking and Animation Club
Membership with BAC Filmmakers Club includes the standard training course on use of cameras. Discounts on filmmaking and animation workshops, member only events, use of ACCtv studio and many other perks.

Animation Capability
Made possible by a generous contribution from the Holden family, animation computers and software is Included with membership in the Northern Nevada Film Factory. Brewery Arts Center will be offering beginning and advanced workshops and ongoing instruction in animation techniques using New Teks Lightwave 9.

Annual Youth/Seniors (under 21 or over 60) – $75
Annual Adult – $150

Scholarships available for disadvantaged youth

Club members will want to take advantage of four program offerings this fall.
• Seniors Adapt Travel Pix to TV” Ages up to 110 – Tuesdays Feb 2-23 11am-1pm – $100
• “Photoshop” All Ages – Mon, March 1-22 – $100 ($90 for members)
• “Video Editing for Kids” Ages 11-19 – Tues, Mar 9-Apr 20 (skips Mar 30)- $150
• “ACCtv Studio Use” – Ages 13-Adult – Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thurs, Mar 29-Apr 1, 3-8 pm – $240

• “Teen TV” – Ages 13-19 – TBD – $150

How to Get Started
Club members can sign up today and pay their dues online. New club members will be required to take an introductory camera and ACCtv studio use course before they can use the cameras or equipment. Courses will be provided bi-weekly initially based upon demand. Club members will receive a card entitling them to club privileges and discounts.
